Introduction

PM Imran launched the ‘Naya Pakistan Housing Project’ will offer 5 million affordable houses with allied services to all citizens, particularly focusing on the financially underserved and middle-income communities, as a measure of comprehensive socio-economic uplift during the following 5 years. According to the program, the government might offer the specified land for the project and play the position of a regulator to make certain permitting surroundings thru the one-window facilitation center for public and private sectors and non-profit companies who might execute the project.

NPHS Goal

PTI’s housing policy would aim at meeting the target of 10 lacs housing units per year as follows:

  • 4 lacs/ year in the Rural Areas

  • 2 lacs/year in Peri-Urban areas under Social Housing Schemes

  • 4 lacs/ year housing units in the Urban Areas.

Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme Eligibility criteria

  • Only one person per family (husband, wife and children)

  • All men / women holding valid CNIC (including Non Resident Pakistani).

  • First time home owner, one unit per household.

  • One individual can have subsidized house loan facility under this scheme only once.

  • Minimum monthly income 25,000/- for applicant and 20,000/- for co-applicant(s).

  • Minimum 3 years proof of business for business individuals and 2 years proof of business for SEP (self employee professional).

  • Minimum 2 years employment period for Salaried.

  • Preference will be given to candidates who do not own any independent residential unit in Pakistan.

  • PKR 250 per form should be deposited along with this registration form.
