Across Pakistan, development authorities such as CDA, LDA, RDA and other delegated government authorities have started operations against illegal housing societies, unapproved real estate projects and property encroachments within the cities. While the crackdown on illegal settlements was necessary to ensure planned development within cities, it has created a need for conducting your own research before buying any property
With this recent real estate development in Pakistan, the onus is now on the property investors and buyers to make sure that the property or real estate housing project in consideration has received necessary approvals from concerned government authorities.
Nonetheless, the concerned development authorities have not left their people unguided and directionless. To make things easier for the stakeholders of the real estate sector, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and other similar institutions that are looking after the real estate development activities in their respective regions have released a list of approved property developments on their official websites.
We have compiled a list of CDA – approved housing societies in Islamabad specifically for property investors and real estate buyers in the capital city of Pakistan. At the end of the list, we have also briefly touched upon the most popular real estate developments in the capital city.
A COMPLETE LIST OF CDA-APPROVED HOUSING SOCIETY
As per the official website of CDA, the following is the list of legal housing societies in Islamabad. Take a look to find out if your concerned housing society is approved or unapproved. Here, we will also like to mention that there are a few housing projects which are in the process of approval – but as long as the official NoC and CDA approval is not received it will not be mentioned in the list below

However, if you are planning to buy a property in a residential housing project other than the list provided above, then make sure that it doesn’t have any legitimacy issues to avoid any risks involved.
