Lahore: On Tuesday (October 05), the Punjab Province Development Working Party (PDWP) approved funding for 10 road projects in Punjab, news sources reported.

In the 22nd PDWP meeting of the current fiscal year (FY 2021-22), the projects were approved. It was chaired by Chairman of the Board of Planning and Development Abdullah Khan Sumbal and has approved PKR 7,825.14 million for 10 road infrastructure projects in the province to deal with traffic problems. The projects that have been approved include:

PKR 776,944 million for the reconstruction of a 25.25-km long route from Phalia to Dinga Doubling Lahore-Jaranwala-Faisalabad-Jang-Bhakkar from Ajub Chowk to Ali Abad Bye Pass

CHP 650 million for the 30 km road from Malakwal to Sat Sira Chowk Mandi Bahauddin, for the rehabilitation and carpeting

Rajjar Railway Crossing Sarai Alamgir District Gujrat PKR 999,379 million for construction of a flyover

PKR 1.139.674 million to restructure the Narowal-Zafarwal road for 25 kilometrer.

The improvement road from Kalowal Mor Ahmad Nagar to Sial Mor Tehsil Lalian was PKR 450,950 million.

The 29.24 kilometer long road from Hafizabad to Sukheke Mandi is PKR 704.775 million for extension and carpeting.

PKR 982 691 million was approved to improve the different routes in UCs 01-24 in Tehsil Gojra, Singh District TT, for the extensive 23.25-kilometer long road from Chowki Sukheke to Cheemi Mohalah Jalalpur Bhattyan PKR 820 million.
